Kate Skagerberg Elected to the Partnership

Beck Redden LLP is pleased to announce that Kate Skagerberg has been elected to the Partnership of the Firm. Skagerberg joined Beck Redden as an Associate in 2011. She is a 2003 graduate of The University of Texas and a 2008 graduate of The University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to joining Beck Redden, Skagerberg served as an Assistant District Attorney for Harris County.

As a former prosecutor, she brings a tremendous amount of trial experience and years of know‐how investigating, evaluating, and litigating cases to a diverse docket, including products liability suits, employment disputes, accusations of professional malpractice, and criminal investigations.

Skagerberg is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and member of the of the Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyer’s Association, the Association of Women Attorneys, and the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College.

Additionally, she is also active in Beck Redden’s pro bono initiatives and recruiting for the Firm.  Skagerberg regularly works with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Houston Food Bank to serve her community and regularly lends her time and talents to active service on behalf of organizations and causes that are important to her in the Houston community.
