Owen McGovern is an appellate specialist with significant experience handling cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Texas, and courts of appeals around the state and country. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Owen brings his appellate expertise to bear in all areas of civil law, with a particular emphasis on complex class action, mass tort and personal injury matters, as well as impact litigation involving constitutional claims.

In addition to his practice, Owen embodies a commitment to serving the Firm as a member of both the Firm’s Business Development & Marketing Committee and its Professional Development Committee.

Owen is a 2006 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a 2012 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law. He began his career at Beck Redden following his clerkships with The Honorable Edith Brown Clement on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and The Honorable Gerald E. Rosen on the Eastern District of Michigan. The Firm is delighted to welcome Owen into the partnership.
