Keith Toler is a board-certified civil appellate specialist who helps clients and trial lawyers solve complex legal problems by identifying the issues that matter most and distilling them into clear, compelling arguments.
Prior to joining Beck Redden, Keith served for more than six years as a Staff Attorney for the First Court of Appeals of Texas, one of the busiest courts of appeals in the state. There, he reviewed hundreds of briefs and appellate records and worked closely with the court in resolving civil appeals and original proceedings. That experience gave Keith a deep understanding of what persuades appellate courts and how difficult legal questions are most effectively presented.
Before joining the court, Keith represented governmental entities in state and federal trial and appellate courts. His experience on both sides of the appellate process informs his approach to appellate litigation. He works closely with clients and trial teams to refine legal arguments, develop effective strategies, and position cases for success at every stage of litigation.
