Leslie takes a personal approach with every client, ensuring their goals for each case are her top priority. A journalism background and an easygoing approach to problem solving help her present clients’ issues in a clear and thoughtful manner.

Leslie is a native East Texan who clerked for Chief Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, one of the busiest courts in the nation, regarded for its efficiency and reverence for trial by jury. Leslie applies the skills she learned in a fast-paced clerkship to her practice and works out any issue she faces methodically and logically. Leslie served as Judge Gilstrap’s first law clerk and gained unique insight into the Court’s local practices and procedures that were implemented during her time in Marshall. Her practice includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide-array of high-stakes civil litigation matters, including complex business disputes, oil and gas, personal injury, mass torts, patent litigation and trade-secret cases.

Leslie’s passion for travel led her and her family to London, England for three years. Having joined the firm in 2012, she recently returned to Houston and plays a valuable role on the litigation team.
