An investigative journalist turned litigator, Kali is a natural storyteller who can readily identify the facts that matter and present her clients’ most compelling arguments in a clear, concise manner.
Kali knows there is no substitute for hard work. She brings curiosity, rigorous preparation, and persistence to every case, ensuring no detail goes overlooked and no question unanswered. Before joining Beck Redden, Kali served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Jane Bland at the Supreme Court of Texas. She graduated first in her class from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
During law school, Kali served as Online Managing Editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review, President of the First Generation Student Union, and taught legal writing to first-year students as a Legal Writing Burks Scholar.
A native Houstonian and fifth-generation Texan, Kali worked as an award-winning investigative reporter in rural Texas before pursuing law. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a certificate in creative writing from The University of Texas at Austin.
