Kaitie believes that preparation is the key to persuasion and that nuance often drives the narrative of a compelling case.
Kaitie represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a diverse array of cases in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration. From providing pre-litigation counsel to handling high-stakes billion-dollar “bet the company” litigation, Kaitie’s practice spans a broad spectrum of legal matters, including breach of contract, fiduciary duty, trade secret, fraud claims, consumer claims, and professional liability, among others.
Kaitie assumes a hands-on approach to her cases in order to understand the most salient facts and use them to her clients’ advantage. From managing discovery to drafting critical motions, preparing witnesses, conducting depositions, and presenting compelling arguments in hearings, she ensures that she uses every opportunity to persuade her audience. Her ability to articulate complex legal concepts with clarity and conviction resonates equally well with judges and juries, earning her the credibility and respect of her clients and peers alike.
Prior to joining Beck Redden, Kaitie distinguished herself as the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Law Review while attending The University of Texas School of Law. This role not only honed her legal writing skills but also exposed her to a diverse array of legal issues, laying the foundation for her multifaceted approach to advocacy. Following law school, Kaitie clerked for the Honorable David Alan Ezra of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, where she gained invaluable experience in civil and criminal cases across San Antonio, Austin, Pecos, Waco, and beyond. She further assisted Judge Ezra with three sittings by designation on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, affording her first-hand experience in the appellate decision-making process.
