Beck Redden LLP is pleased to announce that Chris Dove has joined the firm’s nationally recognized Appellate practice as Of Counsel. He joins from Troutman Pepper Locke and brings with him nearly 25 years of experience in complex appellate advocacy, having argued more than 40 appeals in state and federal courts across the country.

Dove is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and his work is focused on high‑stakes commercial disputes, particularly in the energy, financial‑services, and maritime sectors.

Dove’s arrival deepens a bench that already includes multiple board-certified appellate attorneys and alumni of prestigious clerkships at the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Texas, and Texas Courts of Appeals. He earned his J.D., with highest honors, from the University of Texas School of Law and clerked for the Hon. William Garwood of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Dove is recognized in Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America for Appellate Law.
