On February 10, 2023, Seepan V. Parseghian moderated a virtual discussion with The Honorable Donna Roth (Harris County 295th District Court), The Honorable Kristen Hawkins (Harris County 11th Civil Court), and The Honorable Jeralynn Manor (Harris County 80th Civil Court) for the Houston Bar Association.
The CLE webinar titled “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Civil Court and Were Afraid to Ask!” provided tips and tricks and civil court procedure in civil district court in Harris County. Specifically, the panel discussed best practices and pitfalls lawyers face in regards to discovery disputes, summary judgment, evidentiary hearings, pretrial and trial, and continuances.
