In conjunction with the Firm’s Mentorship Objectives, Beck Redden is excited to offer a unique professional development training to all Beck Redden lawyers. The Firm will host an internal training led by experts from Fringe Professional Development, titled “Making the Most of Mentorship”. Our guest speaker will be Katie Aldrich, a former litigator and Fringe’s Director of Coaching and Program Strategy.

Making the Most of Mentorship

The relationship between a mentor and mentee can be extremely beneficial and rewarding for both participants. For the relationship to be successful, a few important skills must be developed and deployed. This program gives mentors and mentees an opportunity to examine their role in the mentorship relationship, focusing on the critical skills of self-awareness, active listening, and empathy. We will examine the research on performance outcomes in strong mentorship cultures and provide actionable behavior shifts so that participants can create more effective relationships.
