Beck Redden LLP is proud to announce that associate Maryam Ghaffar has been named the 2026 recipient of the Alistair B. Dawson Outstanding Young Litigator Award, presented by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas.
This year, the award was renamed in honor of our late partner and friend, Alistair Dawson. Maryam is the inaugural recipient of the renamed award, a distinction that reflects both her exceptional advocacy and Alistair’s enduring legacy of excellence, professionalism, and mentorship.
The Litigation Section established the Outstanding Young Litigator Award to recognize attorneys practicing twelve years or less who have demonstrated outstanding service and achievement in litigation. This recognition underscores Maryam’s skill as a trial lawyer, her dedication to clients, and her contributions to the legal community.
We congratulate Maryam on this well-deserved honor and are proud to see her recognized in connection with Alistair’s legacy.
