On October 13, 2022, Beck Redden Appellate Partner David M. Gunn, along with Mike Hatchell, presented on “Oldies But Goodies: Important Law Review Articles That Every Texas Appellate Lawyer Needs to Know” at the Houston Bar Association Appellate Practice Section meeting. In a spirit of passing down wisdom to future generations, Gunn and Hatchell handpicked articles with significance and real-world application for junior lawyers.
The HBA Appellate Practice Section is the largest local appellate bar in the State of Texas. The section holds a monthly luncheon that provides an opportunity for networking with members of the appellate bar and justices from the Houston Courts of Appeals. Luncheons are well-attended and feature high-quality CLE presentations by appellate judges and leading members of the appellate bar.
