Join this live webinar as five judges – one from each of the five Business Court divisions – provide information about practicing in this new court. This session will offer 1 hour MCLE credit and is free to Litigation Section members.
The new Texas Business Court is a statewide, specialized trial court created to resolve certain complex business disputes. The Business Court is composed of 11 divisions. Five of the divisions (1, 3, 4, 8 and 11) began operating on September 1, 2024, each with two judges. One of the two judges from each of these five divisions will participate on this panel, explaining the vision, logistics, procedures, and preferences for practice in the Business Court.
