Beck Redden LLP is pleased to announce founding partner David J. Beck’s election to membership in The American Law Institute (ALI), an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to clarifying and improving the law to promote the better administration of justice.

Founded in 1923, ALI brings together accomplished judges, practicing attorneys, and legal scholars to help advance the Institute’s work developing Restatements of the Law, Model Codes, and Principles of the Law, publications that inform judicial decision-making, legislative work, legal scholarship, and education.

Election to ALI follows a confidential nomination and review process: candidates are nominated by an existing member, supported by two additional members, and elected by ALI’s Council or Executive Committee following review. Selection considers professional excellence, outstanding achievement, high character, and a commitment to contributing to the Institute’s mission.

Mr. Beck’s election recognizes his professional achievements and provides an opportunity to participate alongside fellow members in ALI’s work to improve the law and the administration of justice.
