The National Law Journal has recognized Beck Redden LLP in the 2021 Verdicts Hall of Fame, a publication recognizing the 50 highest grossing cases in seven different categories across the country between 2016 and 2020. This Hall of Fame victory is one of several nationally recognized litigation results obtained by Beck Redden lawyers in recent years.

On October 2, 2018, a Beck Redden team obtained a $49.2 million dollar win on behalf of our client, SandBox Logistics, in an intellectual property dispute involving frac sand shipping containers. This judgement, one of the largest jury verdicts in Texas in a contract case in 2018, followed a four-week trial where a unanimous jury found that defendants breached their contractual obligations and committed fraud by using information provided by SandBox under a non-disclosure agreement to design and market copycat products.

Beck Redden partner Matthew Whitley served as lead counsel for the trial team, which included Seepan Parseghian. Russell Post and Parth Gejji provided appellate assistance.

The style of the case is Cause No. 2016-03483, SandBox Logistics, LLC et al. v. Arrows Up, Inc., et al., in the 334th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas.
