Beck Redden LLP is pleased to announce that Maryam Ghaffar has been elected to the Houston Law Review Alumni Association (HLRAA) Board as the Secretary-Treasurer.
The HLRAA Board engages alumni and donors to support the Houston Law Review and legal writing and scholarships in general. Houston Law Review is a scholarly journal published by students at the University of Houston Law Center. The organization itself is a non-profit corporation run independent of the Law Center administration, with student editors making all editorial and organizational decisions. During law school, Maryam served as the Chief Articles Editor for Board 57. Houston Law Review has over 1,000 alumni and is in its 60th year of publication.
